Ministers visit WASA canals after recovery

Three ministers and a state minister recently visited canals run by Dhaka WASA at Ramchandrapur and Kalyanpur in the city.
Housing and Public Works Minister Engr. Mosharraf Hossain, Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan, Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif and State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Moshiur Rahman Ranga visited the canals after removal of illegal structures there by the Dhaka WASA.
Local Government Division Secretary Abdul Malek and RAJUK Chairman Joynal Abedin were also present. Dhaka WASA has done improvement work there after recovery from illegal occupation, the utility service provider has said in a statement.
Before the visit, Dhaka WASA Managing Director Taqsem A Khan briefed them about development of canals, maintained by the WASA.
