Ministries asked to submit reports on Bangla use

The Public Administration Ministry has asked all the ministries concerned to submit their reports over implementation of the High Court (HC) order on using Bangla by the next 15 days, reports UNB.
Senior Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury said this while talking to reporters at a press briefing at the ministry on Wednesday.
Earlier, on February 17, the HC issued an order to use Bangla in all signboards, nameplates and number plates of vehicles as well as electronic media advertisements.
On April 29, the HC expressed its disappointment at the government stance over implementation of its orders on the use of Bangla in all advertisements of electronic media and on vehicle registration plates, signboards and billboards across the country.
