Ministry asks BAB to help increase export items

Secretary In-Charge of the Industries Ministry M Abdul Halim on Sunday asked the officials of Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) to play an active role in increasing the country's export basket for developing its economy, reports BSS.
"BAB is providing all kinds of support to develop the country's infrastructure for improving domestic products and services, which helps establish consumer rights and regulate the quality of imported goods," he said.
Mr. Halim was addressing a function while unveiling the BAB news letter for the second-half at the Industries Ministry here, said a statement.
BAB Director General M Monwarul Islam presided over the function.
