Minor boy drowns in Jessore

A minor boy drowned in a pond at Kuthipara village in Chaugachha upazila of Jessore district on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Tasin Ahmed, 5, son of a Saudi Arabia expatriate Shamsur Rahman, and a resident of the village. Locals said Tasin slipped into the pond while he was playing beside the pond. Later family members searched him everywhere and his body was found in the water of the pond on Sunday morning. Locals recovered the body, according to a news agency.
