Minor boy electrocuted

A minor boy has died from electrocution in Roynagar area in Sylhet city. The deceased as identified as Yamin Bakht Chowdhury, 9, a class IV student of Sylhet Islami Academy and a resident of Razbari Bashundhara area in the north-eastern divisional city. Locals said Yamin came in touch with a live electric wire when he was playing with the iron pipe of a curtain and died on the spot. Abdul Hannan, a teacher of the academy, and the peoples’ representatives from the village, confirmed the incident, according to a news agency.
