Minor boy fighting for life after toture

BAGERHAT, Aug 7: A class-IV boy, who was tortured indiscriminately by a youth on his school premises in Uttar Khanpur village under Bagerhat Sadar, had been struggling hard to recover over the last five days at a private hospital. Witnesses said Ibad Sheikh, 10, son of Azmal Sheikh of Uttar Khanpur  village of the upazila and a student of class IV at Uttar Khanpur Govt Primary School, was beaten without any perceivable reason by Soleman Chakladar, 22, son of Rafiq Chakladar of the same village on July 2.    — UNB
