Minor boy hacked to death

A minor boy was hacked to death by miscreants and the body was dumped in a field in Bera upazila in Pabna district on Wednesday. Police quoting locals said second-grader Ramin, 9, son of Habibur Rahman Khan of Boalia and student of Boalia Government Primary School, had gone to school in the morning but did not return since then. Villagers spotted the hacked body of Ramin in the evening and informed police who took it to Aminpur Police Station. Police arrested one Hitu Kazi, 27, son of Kazi Asad of Boalia, on suspicion of involvement in the killing, according to UNB.
