Minor drown in city

A 12-year old boy drowned in a pond in Hazaribagh area in the city on Friday night. The deceased was identified as M Sabbir Ahmed Rabbi, 12, a class-VI student of Rayerbazar High School and son of M Salauddin, a resident of Hazaribagh Tanarimal Gazmahal area. Deceased’s father said Rabbi drowned in the pond while bathing here after playing football. After searching the pond, Salauddin recovered the body of Rabbi and rushed him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where on the duty doctor declared him dead, according to a news agency.
