Minor electrocuted in Sylhet, man in Gopalganj

A middle-aged man and a minor boy died from electrocution in Gopalganj and Sylhet districts on Wednesday. Sumon, 3, son of Amir Ali, a resident of Bashir Miah Colony in Baluchar under Sylhet City Corporation was electrocuted on Wednesday night. Family sources said Sumon was electrocuted as he touched a multi-plug unknowingly while playing in the room around 7:30pm. He died on the spot.
Saidul Molla was electrocuted at Kanshalia village under Muksudpur upazila in Gopalganj on Wednesday. Local people said Saidul Molla, 38, of Kanshalia village died on the spot as he came in contact with a live electric wire in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
