Minor girl drowns in Satkhira

A minor girl drowned in a pond in Tala Upazila in Satkhira on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Kajol Rekha, 3, daughter of Liakat Ali, a resident of Bhaira village. Locals said Rekha slipped into water and drowned while playing on the bank of the pond near her house at about 10:30am. Later, locals found her floating body in the pond and recovered it, according to UNB.
