Minor girl killed in city

A minor girl was killed by unknown assailants and her body was dumped in a playground beside Humayun Saheber Rail Gate, adjacent to the Bangladesh Boys Club in Gopibagh at some times between Tuesday night and early Wednesday. Local people found the body, packed in a sack, lying in the field on Wednesday modning and informed police. Being informed, a team of Wari police arrived at the spot around 7:00am and recovered the body, bearing injury marks. Police also sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Police suspect that the victim, aged around 13, might have been working as a domestic assistant in a house in the city. However, they could not say whether she had been raped before getting killed by the assailants. Sub-Inspector of the Wari Police Station said postmortem will reveal everything about the murder, according to a news agency.
