Minor girl raped in Jhalakati

JHALAKATI, Dec 21 (UNB): A minor girl was raped by a miscreant at Balighona village in Sadar upazila on Monday.
The rapist was identified as Sohel, son of Burjuk Molla of the village.
Locals said Sohel raped the 8-year-old girl of Ramjankati village at about 2:30pm when she came to Balighona village to visit her relative's house.
Local people rescued the girl hearing her shrill cry and admitted her to Sadar hospital in the evening in profusely bleeding condition. Victim's father filed a case against Sohel.
