Minor girl violated in Jessore

JESSORE, Apr 11: A girl student of class four of an NGO run school was raped by one Anis of Pirojpur district at Ghope Nawapara Road in Jessore town at around 3am Sunday. Police said terrorist Anis picked up the baby from her hut at a slum on Ghope Nawapara Road in the town in gun point and raped her at a nearby place. He terror left her as she felt seriously sick. Locals rescued her from the spot and took her to Jessore General Hospital. The victim's mother lodged a case with Jessore Kotwali Police Station in this regard. None was arrested in this connection till this report.
