Minor maid raped in Jessore

A minor female domestic help was violated allegedly by her master’s son at Basundia village in sadar upazila of Jessore district on Friday. Police arrested Nazmul Hossain alias Babu, 30, son of Kamruzzaman, owner of the house where the victim was employed. Shikdar Akkas Ali, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said the 10-year-old girl used to work at the house of Kamruzzaman as a maid for long. On Friday morning, Babu raped the girl forcibly, leaving her injured. Later she got admitted to a local hospital. On information, police investigate the incident and arrested Babu from his house on charge of violating the girl. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
