Minor quake jolts city

A minor earthquake shook the capital city Wednesday afternoon, meteorological department sources said. The distance of the epicentre of the earthquake was about 337 kms from Dhaka Seismic Observatory and 247.8 kms from Chittagong Seismic Observatory. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.70 on the Richter scale. —BSS
