Mir Chess Club emerge champions

Mir Chess Club emerged unbeaten champion in the 2nd Division Chess League that concluded Monday at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hallroom, reports BSS.
Mir Chess earned 13 points to clinch the title while Agrani Bank Limited Daba Dal finished runners-up with 12 points.
Sonargaon Chess Club and Chess Q became 3rd and 4th position with 10 points each while Asad Chess Club finished 5th with 9 points.
Four teams earned 8 points each and their positions are 6th-New Nation Chess Club, 7th-Pin Chess Power, 8th-Barimojlish Chess Academy and 9th-Dabanol Chess Club.
Champion Mir Chess Club and Runner-up Agrani Bank Limited Daba Dal qualified for the next year's 1st Division Chess League.
