Mir Nasir elected chairman of Eastern Bank

Mir Nasir Hossain has been unanimously elected the new chairman of Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) at a recent meeting of the board of directors of the bank in the city Tuesday.
Nasir is the immediate past president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
He is engaged in businesses like ceramic tiles manufacturing, construction, banking, insurance, transport, information technology etc.
Nasir is also a former president of Faridpur Chamber, senior vice president of SAARC Chamber and vice president of Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI).
