Mir Quasem Ali in tribunal

Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mir Quasem Ali has been brought to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 ahead of the imminent verdict in his war crimes trial on Sunday. Mir Qausem reached the ICT-2 premises around 9:17am. Earlier at 9:11 am, a prison van carrying him left the Dhaka Central Jail, said Chawkbazar Police Station OC Azizur Rahman. The war crimes accused was brought to Dhaka from Gazipur’s Kahsimpur Central Jail on Friday. The ICT-2 led by Justice Obaidul Hasan is expected to deliver the verdict after 10:30am. The tribunal on Thursday fixed the date of the verdict on the Jamaat leader on Sunday, according to bdnews24.com.
