Mirza Abbas freed from jail

Senior BNP leader Mirza Abbas has been released from prison after getting bail from the High Court in four cases. He had been in jail since March 16 in connection with cases accusing him of sabotage. Dhaka central jail’s superintendent Mahbub Ali told bdnews24.com that the BNP leader was released after they had received the court documents. He stepped out of the jail just after 8pm.
