Mirza Aziz distributes ICAB award

Finance and Planning Adviser Dr AB Mirza Azizul Islam Friday stressed the need for ensuring transparency and accountability of any institution through its annual report.
"An annual report is like the mirror of an institution as its importance is immense in the field of corporate responsibility," he said while addressing a function organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the city, reports BSS.
Mirza Azizul Islam appreciated ICAB's initiative in giving awards for the best annual reports and accounts and urged all concerned to be more responsible while preparing such yearly financial documents.
Later, the Adviser handed over the 8th ICAB national awards to the representatives of Prime Bank Limited, Prime Finance and Investment Limited, Singer Bangladesh Limited, and BRAC for their outstanding contribution in respective fields.
ICAB President M Humayun Kabir also addressed the function, among others.
