Mirza stresses on corporatisation of banks

Finance Adviser AB Mirza Md Azizul Islam laid importance on the corporatisation of banks to meet the challenge of globalisation.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a seminar on 'Changing Corporate Culture' held at Brac Centre in the city Saturday.
Janata Bank Board of Directors Chairman Suhel A Chowdhury presided over the seminar.
Suhel Chowdhury advised all to work with a vision and the mission to provide better customer service and efficiency.
Agrani Bank Board of Directors Chairman Siddiqur Rahman Chowdhury was the guest of honour as Janata Bank Managing Director Md Mukter Hosain also spoke on the occasion.
Former deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank Khondokar Ibrahim Khaled was the keynote presenter on the topic.
Members of the Janata Bank board of directors, top executives of other banks, Janata Bank DMDs, all general managers, executives from the head office and field levels were also present.
