Miscreants attack BCL activist in Sylhet

SYLHET, June 27 (UNB): An activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) sustained stab injuries in an attack by miscreants at Shahi Eidgah area here on Friday night.
The injured was identified as Arafat Hossain Chowdhury Akash (21), a resident of the area and BBA student of Madan Mohan College.
Police and locals said Akash came under attack by a group of miscreants on the way to his residence in the area at night.
The miscreants chopped him with sharp weapons indiscriminately, leaving him injured.
