Miscreants gouge out eye of fish farm owner

Miscreants gouged out one of the eyes of a fish farm owner after brutally hacking him at Munsirhat Bazar in Morelganj upazila of Bagerhat on Saturday morning. Being chased by a gang of miscreants, Rob Sheikh, 30, son of Ashrab Sheikh of Tutpara area in Khulna city, rushed out of a house in Kharaikhali village in Morelganj. The miscreants caught the fish enclosure owner on a road adjacent to Munsirhat Bazar and hacked him brutally with sharp weapons. Later, they gouged out his left eye and also damaged the right one by stabbing it. As the miscreants fled the scene leaving him behind with multiple injuries all over the body, locals took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
