Miscreants kill BD expatriate in Brazil

NOAKHALI, May 22 (UNB): A Bangladeshi expatriate was killed allegedly by some unidentified miscreants in Brazil's capital city Brasilia on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Solaiman Patowari Dulal, 45, son of Sayed Patowari, a resident of Fotepur village in Chatkhil Upazila of the district.
Dulal's friend Roman, who also lives in Brasilia, said on Wednesday night while Dulal was going to his workplace from his residence some unidentified hoodlums shot him suddenly around 8pm, leaving him critically injured.
He was whisked off to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries four hours later.
Earlier, Dulal lived in Kuwait for earning livelihood and he shifted to Brazil in 2012.
Dulal got married to Salma Akter, a Sri Lankan citizen in 1991 when he lived in Kuwait.
