Miscreants kill factory official in Ctg, loot Tk 1.0m

CHITTAGONG, Aug 11: Armed miscreants killed a flour mill official, left another seriously wounded and snatched away Tk 1.0 million from them at the city's Agrabad commercial area today.
The deceased was identified as Tauhidul Alam (32), an official of Mahbub Flour Mills.
His assistant Mintu Ranjan Chowdhury was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in critical condition.
The incident occurred at around 12.30 pm just at the entrance of Agrabad branch of the Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd located on the ground floor of Ayub Trade Centre on Sheikh Mujib Road under Bandar police station of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP).
