Miscreants kill old man in Chandpur

Some miscreants killed an old man and dumped his body in a rainwater submerged crop field at Hajiganj Upazila in Chandpur on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Mostafa Munshi, 65, of Ramchandrapur village. His family members and local people said Munshi went missing after he had left his home at Ramchandrapur village for some personal work on Wednesday afternoon. Munshi could not be traced since then, they said adding his body, with an injury mark in his neck, was found floating in the crop field at Ramchandrapur village on Saturday afternoon. Being informed, police rushed in and sent the body to Chandpur General Hospital following recovery, according to a news agency.
