Miscreants murder son of Gobindaganj AL leader

Son of Gobindaganj Awami League leader has been murdered. The dead is Ashiqur Rahman, son of Gobindaganj municipality mayor and the local unit Awami League leader Ataur Rahman. Policce said, locals spotted his body stuffed in a sack behind a community centre in Gobindaganj Upazila town in Gaibandha on Friday morning. A police team went to the spots and recovered the body, also bearing injury marks, at about 9am. It was sent to Sadar Hospital for an autopsy. Victim’s family members said Ashiqur went missing on Thursday noon. Police arrested eight people, including two women, in this connection, according to a news agency.
