Miscreants slaughter man in Chuadanga

Some miscreants slaughtered a man and dumped the body in Batiapara village in Alamdanga Upazila of Chuadanga district on Thursday morning. The deceased was identified as Md Tokon alias Kayar Tokon, 40, son of late Moslem Uddin Mandal, hailed from Ramnagar Kalabari village under Damurhuda Upazila. Police said that locals called police after seeing the body in the area around 9:00am. Police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Police said that he was a leader of Purba Banglar Communist Party, a claim the locals contradicted, according to a news agency.
