Miscreants torch trader's house three times in Lalmonirhat

LALMONIRHAT, Aug 18: Miscreants set fire on houses of a trader three times at Boraibari village of Palashi union under Aditmari upazilla of Lalmonirhat district.
According to the house owner and local sources, some miscreants set fire on the straw bunch on Thursday evening last.
On information, authority of local army camp instructed the fire fighters to go their immediately. At the same time army personnel also rushed the spot quickly.
Later, fire fighters brought the fire under control by the help of villagers.
On 14 August (Thursday) miscreants again set fire on their drawing room. On August 08 (Thursday), miscreants set fire on their cowshed at about 10 pm.
When asked the owner of the house Abed Ali said, "I don't do politics and never involved with AL politics but miscreants set fire on my houses three times within last 10 days".
Officer In charge (OC) Mahmud of Aditmari police station confirmed the incident and said we will take action after investigation.
