Mishap kills one, injures four in Comilla

COMILLA, Jan 3 (UNB): A man was killed and four others were injured in a head-on collision between two trucks at Cheora in Chauddagram Uapzila here Wednesday night.
Traffic on Dhaka-Chittagong highway remained halted for eight and half-hours following the accident.
Police said the Feni-bound truck from Comilla collided with another truck coming from opposite direction, killing an unidentified helper of a truck on the spot at 11.30pm.
The injured were admitted to local upazila health complex.
Traffic resumed on the highway at 7.30 am Thursday when police removed the two damaged trucks from the road.
