Mishu selected as inspiring young entrepreneur in Asia Pacific

Mishu Rahman, editor of Purple Magazine and also the CEO of Media Arts and Technology Ltd, a communication research firm, has been selected as one of the 100 inspiring young entrepreneurs and social changemakers from 10 countries in Asia Pacific.
This was revealed in a press release from The Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship (FYSE) Hong Kong Tuesday.
She will be one of the three young entrepreneurs under 30 years of age to join the annual Paragon fellowship 2009 (previously Asia Pacific Future 100), a Paragon being a model of excellence for others to aspire towards.
She is also a popular news anchor in Bangladesh.
The other winners are Ejaj Ahmad, founder of the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre and Faisal Islam, founder of Padma Research and Development Organisation.
The winners of this year have been selected out of 560 applicants from the region to join the 100 strong Paragon fellowship 2009, including fellows from Indonesia, India, China, Pakistan and Nepal.
