Enamul Haque Md. Al Mamun (52), an official of Bangladesh T & T Board, Mahakhali Wireless Transmission Region, has been missing since August 10, 2006.
Enamul, elder brother of Zulfikar Ali Manik, reporter of the Daily Star, had come out from their Indira Road residence in Farmgate area for a stroll. Mamun was the eldest among seven sons and three daughters of late A AM Ataul Haque, a freedom fighter and former acting chief of Bangladesh Navy and Begum Fazilatunnessa.
His devastated family members failed to trace his whereabouts during the last one year. They filed several GDs with Tejgaon police and sought their support to trace Mamun. But the family members alleged that they did not get proper cooperation from the police
