Missing BUET student's body recovered from Padma

KERANIGANJ, Jul 15 (UNB): The body of a final-year student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has been recovered from the Padma River.
The dead is Tariquzzaman Sunny.
Mostafa Kamal, officer-in-charge of Dohar thana, said Sunny went missing while taking a bath in the river with three of his friends at Moinot Ghat in Dhaka's Dohar upazila around 12:00 noon on Thursday.
Members of the Fire Service recovered his body around 11:00 am on Friday, he said.
A case of unnatural death has been filed in this connection and the body will be handed over to the deceased's family members after an autopsy, said OC Mostafa.
