Missing youth found dead in Pabna

PABNA, Feb 1: A missing young man was found dead in a ditch at Baliahalot area of the district town Friday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Md. Masud Rana, 22, son of Nayeeb Ali of village Bilkula under Ataikula police station in Santhia Upazila of the district.
Locals found the body in the marsh and informed police. Police recovered the body from the spot at around 6.00pm on Friday and sent it to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for postmortem examination.
Locals claimed on being chased by DB police Masud fell into the marsh.
Police said Masud Rana was found missing four days ago. Police suspected that he was strangulated to death.
