MMC shut over clash for 7 days

Classes and examinations at Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) have been suspended and students ordered to vacate dormitories following a violent clash between two groups at a student hostel, triggering an official investigation, reports bdnews24.com.
College authorities also formed a three-member probe committee to investigate the incident, Principal Prof Md Nazmul Alam Khan said.
According to a media statement on Saturday morning, following an emergency academic council meeting held in response to Friday night's violence, all academic activities and examinations will remain suspended for seven days.
Students were instructed to leave their hostels immediately from Saturday morning.
In a separate notice, the principal announced the formation of the inquiry body.
