Mobarak trial ends: Judgment any day

The verdict on the war crimes trial of Mobarak Hossain, allegedly a Razakar Commander at Brahmanbaria during the Liberation War in 1971, is expected to be delivered any day now. International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 concluded the trial of Mobarak Hossain on five war crimes charges including murder, abduction and torture, on Monday. Reportedly a former member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, 62-year-old Mobarak Hossain joined the ruling Awami League after independence, according to bdnews24.com.
