Mobile court fines 5 fast food shops, restaurant

BARISAL, Apr 29 (UNB): A mobile court operated in the city Thursday noon realized Tk 20,000 in fine from five fast food shops and one restaurant for selling date-expired and rotten items and preparing food in unhygienic process. Ghosh Mistanya Bhandar of Line Road was fined Tk 5,000, Akon Fast Food Tk 5,000, Chalantika Fast Food Tk 3,000 and Royal Restaurant Tk 2,000 and Royal Coffee Shop Tk 5,000. Five separate cases were also lodged and huge amount of date-expired food items were destroyed during the operation.
