Mobile court realises Tk 38,000 as fine

RANGPUR, Sept 27 (BSS): A mobile court realised Tk 38,000 as fine from eight meat sellers of the town during an anti-adulteration drive Wednesday.
The mobile court led by Magistrate M Feroz Ahmed fined the meat traders for violating existing rules while slaughtering animals and marketing meat, sources said.
The court realised Tk 6,000 each from meat sellers Azad Hossain, Shaheed Koreshi, Nawshad Hossain, Israil Ali, Guddu Miah and Moslem Uddin, and Tk 1,000 each from Khorshed Alam and Azgar Ali by settling the cases against them on the spot.
