Mobile court realises Tk.219m fine in city

Mobile courts in separate drives realised Tk 0.219 million as fine and filed 27 cases against a number of restaurants and department stores in the city for selling essentials without BSTI certification Thursday, reports BSS.
The drives were conducted in Gulshan, Khilkhet, Cantonment, Tejgaon and Tejgaon Industrial Area, Lalbagh, Kamrangichar, Kotwali, Sutrapur, Shyampur, Uttara, Uttarkhan, Dakkh-inkhan, Airport, Turag, Demra and Jatrabari areas of the city.
