Mobile court seals saw-mill

NARAIL June 19: A mobile court headed by Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Arun Kumar Mandal sealed up a saw-mill operating illegally near the upazila office building at 2.00 pm Saturday.
The court also fined the mill Tk 10,000.
Sources said Momin Munshi, a local influential person of Laksmipasa had set up the saw-mill at Lakshmipasha bazar.
Munshi had been continuing operations of his saw-mill since long without official sanction and ignoring frequent warnings from the authority.
