Mobile court to curb traffic rule violation

Mobile court will be deployed on a VIP road in the city on Tuesday to curb violation of traffic rules. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Saturday declared that a mobile court will operate from Tuesday to prevent people from flouting traffic law while crossing streets from Farmgate of Tejgaon to Ruposhi Bangla hotel in Shahbagh. DMP Commissioner Benazir Ahmed made the announcement in the afternoon. The DMP boss said the penalty for violating the rules will be six months imprisonment or Tk 200 in fine, according to private TV channels.
