Mobile internet down for 30 minutes

Mobile telephone operators reduced on Sunday the bandwidth of mobile internet services for 30 minutes on the instruction of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to prevent the leak of SSC examination question papers. Users reported experiencing low speed from 9:30am till 10am. A BTRC official, seeking anonymity, said mobile operators were asked to curb bandwidth from 10am till 11am. The commission sent letters to the operators in this regard.
