Mobile-PSTN phone inter-connectivity fee reduced

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has reduced the inter-connectivity fee among the mobile phone and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) operators with effect from October 1. As per the new BTRC decision, the new inter-connectivity call charge will be 0.40 paisa per minute instead of 0.66 paisa. According to a BTRC announcement, the new decision was taken after holding meetings with mobile phone and PSTN operators on September 16 and 20. —FE Report
