MoC meets edible oil importers, refiners today

The ministry of commerce (MoC) will hold a meeting with edible oil importers, refiners and dealers today (Sunday) to assess the stock position and price situation of the essentials.
The price of per litre edible oil shot up by at least Tk 10 during the last one week in retail level.
Edible oil was selling at more than Tk 100 per litre in the city's markets Saturday, although it was available at around Tk 90 a week before.
The meeting will be the second one to be held in the last four-day period.
