Mock migrants parliament session held in Gazipur

A mock migrants parliament session titled 'Safe Migration for Rural Development' was held Saturday in Gazipur at the district administration auditorium with a few male and females, who were deceived abroad, to give their presentation as parliament members.
Mojibul Haque, senior manager of Brac was present as the speaker of the parliament session where cheated members participated in question and answer session and told their stories of sufferings in foreign land.
Nurul Islam, director of Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET), Kazi Abu Kalam, deputy secretary of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment ministry, Dewan Mohammad Humayun Kabir, additional district magistrate of Gazipur, Ismail Hossain, assistant director of passport directorate and Zohura Begum, deputy director of expatriates' welfare ministry also spoke on the occasion. They took part in the question-answer session as mock home, foreign, local government and expatriates' welfare minister.
