Moderate quake jolts country

A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale, jolted the country Saturday night. The epicentre of the tremor that was felt at about 23 hours 3 minutes 11 seconds (BST) was about 1014.6 km from Agargaon, Dhaka Seismic Observatory and 818.5 km from Ambagan, Chittagong Seismic Observatory. —UNB
