Moderate quake jolts S-E region

A moderate earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale have jolted the southeast region of the country. The quake was felt in the southeast region around 537 kilometres (km) away from the Bangladesh Metrological Department Seismic Centre at Agargaon in Dhaka in the morning, according to a news agency.
