Modernising BD power transmission: Germany to provide fund

The German government on Monday signed an agreement with Bangladesh to provide funds for the energy transmission sector. The KfW (German Development Bank) signed the deal on behalf of its government. The German Development Cooperation will provide grant funds of about €320 million to support renewable energy and energy efficiency of the power sector in Bangladesh, according to a news agency.
