Modhumoti Bank held 10th AGM

Modhumoti Bank Limited held the 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at a city hotel on Saturday with the assistance of Zoom technology. Presided over by Chairman of the bank Humayun Kabir, the meeting approved audited financial statements and Directors' Report for 2022 and also approved 12.5 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders. Earlier, an Extraordinary General Meeting was also held at the same venue, where the shareholders have approved the new name of the bank -- 'Modhumoti Bank PLC'. Shaikh Salahuddin, MP, Vice-Chairman; Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Chairman, Executive Committee; Mostafa Kamal, Chairman, Risk Management Committee; directors, sponsor-shareholders along with Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, were present at both the meetings.
