Modhumoti Bank reappoints Shafiul Azam as CEO

Md. Shafiul Azam has been reappointed as the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Modhumoti Bank for the next three years, according to a press statement.
Mr Azam joined Modhumoti Bank in 2014 as an additional managing director and was first appointed as MD & CEO in 2016.
After completing his post-graduation in Marketing from the University of Dhaka, Mr. Azam began his career in 1991 as a probationary officer at AB Bank.
In his 34-year banking career, he has served in various important roles, including deputy managing director of Shahjalal Islami Bank.
